Tessitura Serica Antonio Ratti” was founded by Antonio Ratti in Como.
1958
Inauguration of the Guanzate plant for the integrated cycle manufacturing of silk, from yarn to finished product.
1973
Incorporation of Ratti USA Inc, based in New York.
1985
Fondazione Antonio Ratti was established for the promotion of initiatives, research and study in the field of textiles and contemporary art.
1989
Ratti was listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.
1991
Carnet, a company serving ateliers, designers and tailor-made specialists, joined Ratti.
1992
Acquisition of Creomoda Sarl, a textile accessories manufacturing company based in Tunisia.
1995
Inauguration of the Antonio Ratti Textile Center al Metropolitan Museum of Art di New York, thanks to the contribution of Fondazione Antonio Ratti: among the largest and most technologically advanced facilities for the study and conservation of fabrics.
1999
Remodel of the Guanzate plant designed by architect Luigi Caccia Dominioni.
2004
Acquisition of Textrom Srl, a company specialised in the printing of finished garments, knitwear and leather based in Romania.
2005
Incorporation of Ratti Int. Trad. Co. Ltd. based in Shanghai.
2010
Ratti joined the Marzotto Group.
2011
Ratti embarked on its virtuous path of sustainable development in economic, environmental and social terms.
2017

Creation of the first sustainable collection.

Publication of the first sustainability report.
2019
Acquisition of a stake in the historic Florentine knitwear factory Marielle Srl.

Acquisition of La Maison des Accessoires Sarl, a textile accessories manufacturing company based in Tunisia.
2020
Acquisition of a stake in Foto Azzurra, a company that has been producing frames for silk-screen printing on fabrics since 1989.
2022
Ratti became a Benefit Company.
2023
The “Second Life Srl a Socio Unico” textile waste plant was established at the Guanzate site.
