The new Herno Relife project, is a collaboration between Ratti and Herno and is based on the shared values of craftsmanship, uniqueness, circularity and heritage. Together we breathed new life into 18 iconic patterns from Herno’s past collections, revisiting them through one of our most valuable and distinctive techniques: textile printing with planche.
Each planche helped create “placed” prints that ensure the exact repetition of the design on each garment, while maintaining the individuality of each piece due to the manual nature of the process. Ten designs were selected from our archive of more than 5,000 planches. 250 exclusive pieces were relabeled from the men’s and women’s lines, which will be available in Herno monobrand stores in Milan, Paris and Tokyo
During the week of March 22-31, communication of the Herno Relife project comes to life both in the Herno boutique spaces on Via Montenapoleone in Milan and online, through social media. In the boutique, two plexiglass displays will allow visitors to explore up close the planches used in the project, offering a direct immersion in the craftsmanship and innovation that characterize it. At the same time, a digital campaign will be launched on Ratti and Herno’s social channels to share the story and values behind the revamped garments, aiming to engage a wide audience with visual and narrative content.
