From the meeting of the two brands comes a dedicated capsule collection that explores the technical and aesthetic applications of Phoria wadding—a circular project developed by Ratti—in Sealup’s contemporary high-end outerwear. Phoria is an innovative insulation made from the recovery of printed silk waste generated during Ratti’s production processes. Through a transformation process, the material is converted into a lightweight, warm, and highly high-performance wadding, capable of combining comfort, technical quality, and elegance. Ratti continues its growth path with a strategic project dedicated to strengthening its weaving operations, with the goal of reinforcing internal production capacity and enhancing Italian craftsmanship. The plan includes the installation of four new looms, bringing the total to 43 operating machines over an area of 1,675 m². Thanks to this initiative, part of the production that is currently outsourced will be brought back in-house, ensuring greater control over processing and even higher quality standards. We had the privilege of supporting Selvatico Ancestrale, the new production by Opera Liquida, the theatre company founded by Ivana Trettel 18 years ago, staged on October 24 and 25 in the theatre of the Opera Prison before a mixed audience that also included incarcerated individuals. The company develops projects in collaboration with correctional institutions, involving people in detention in creative activities such as acting, set design, costume making, and theatre production, promoting inclusion, training, and social reintegration.
